Only Northern Ireland has begun using common sense to save time by discouraging lies in mortgage disputes. After a defendant attempted to arrest a judge for helping the same bank use the same lies against victims in England that we are exposing, their evidence was used to make a new practice direction. This is the first UK jurisdiction where evidence for this purpose is now given in affidavits from first-hand witnesses, with the risk of perjury and a criminal record.
Ireland goes further
In October 2023, for the first time in world history, an entire jurisdiction called out wilful corruption and collusion of the state. The Master of The High Court in Dublin announced that the Land Registry no longer has conclusive evidence to enforce charges. They demanded an immediate halt to systematic fraud pending a state-wide investigation.
